It started with a simple but powerful idea: what if beadwork could do more than tell a story? What if it could change one? At SORALO, we work alongside different organised groups of women and one of them is the Olkiramatian Reto Women Group; a 210-strong, from five locations in the Magadi landscape, one of Kenya’s most important conservation areas. These women are custodians of culture, land, and community. And now, they are building something bigger.
